O professor (im)possivel e seu (anti) metodo : considerações sobre educação e saude mental / The (im)possible teacher and its (anti)method : considerations about education and mental health

RESUMO

The general meaning of this work was to investigate the (im) possible relations between Education and the Mental Health, having as specific meaning the pretension to know the probable relation between the method of teaching of the academical teacher s and the model of administration of the institution in that he/she works. This taskwork felt in function of our experience in the teaching of General Psychopatology, one of the disciplines that composes the curriculum of the courses of Psychology, experience this one, that made us to observe the effects of the teaching extrapolates the pedagogic ambitions and touch the field of subjectivity, fact that impelled us to the research s field with the meaning of verify the hypothesis that there would be an indissociable relationship between Education and Mental Health, as well as, the contour of one style of work. This way, we interviewed academical teachers - responsible for the suitable subject - in all the public universities of the state of São Paulo that offers the course of Psychology, as well as, the same number of teachers in the same number of private universities, seeking to verify, mainly, if the effects that we identified and for which we did not still have specific name, if they also felt with these teachers and if they could be understood as fruits of the articulation between Education and Mental Health. We verified, through the field s work, in what concerns to the objectives of the teaching, the solid prevail of an education turned to the market, fact that made clear the interference of the administration model in what it concerns to the method of the teacher s work. However, the fact of the model of capitalist administration to influence the method of the listened teachers work, unlike what we could suppose, it didn t disable the articulation between Education and Mental Health, sees that the teachers have, in spite of that, conserved a work style whose focus is the student while subject that is, denoting resistance in commercializing the relationship teacher/student. This way, we verified to be the possible teacher that one that looks for the Education in direction to the subject and the one that makes of its own method the anti-method because your work is handmade, it considers each student as only subject, and each classroom that assumes as susceptible to undertake private dynamics. In these terms, Education and Mental Health they walk of given hands because there is no a possible teaching that doesn t consider the subject.
