O alinhamento entre a estratégia organizacional e o sistema de avaliação e de recompensas: um estudo de caso da organização Banco do Brasil S.A.

RESUMO

This study analyzed several concepts of strategy, the difference throughout their meanings, the necessary requirements to be considered as efficient, the several ways of elaboration and implementation, the view of its meanings by the main authors about the subject, the differences throughout these views, the aspects that value, the ways of involvement and engagement of the organization with the strategic compromise and its repercussions of its development. We analyzed the importance of alignment and agreement among the necessary competences for the development of the strategic program and the competences that compose the several internal systems that directly influence on the professional life of each employee as an example the evaluation and rewards system and the professional rising system. We verified that when an organization gets the perfect tuning at the development of the essential competences for the successful strategic implementation, it begins to contain the crucial condition so that the implementation occurs with the intensity, engagement and involvement desired, collaborating for the complete reaching of the considered objectives. We analysed the practices adopted by enterprises of a world class, many of them world leaders at their role, that contributed for the company to experience leads of excellence on their processes and, by consequence, at their results, edge of operational return, market value and recognition of excellence by its clients and markets. We verified if the strategies in common of the related enterprises are done by Banco do Brasil, at what level and, in case of not completely implementation, what is necessary to be done to solidify the practice as pertaining to the organizational principles. We presented the organization Banco do Brasil, its architecture and the processes that we consider as basic processes to the strategic administration, as the performance and evaluation results and the professional rising system. We had a case study about alignment among the several competences required for the strategy full execution at the bank and the competences that compose the functional evaluation system used currently. The sample was made together with the managers, of agencies or internal units of the bank, in Salvador. The research results demonstrated that, in general the strategic competences are contemplated and aligned with the evaluation system. However, there are competences that were considered as very important to the fulfilment of the strategic ideal that are not been reflected at the system and, therefore, are not functional contract object to its development.
