RESUMO

This thesis intention is to display the Hegelian thought, regarding the relation of gender in the phenomenological journey of the dialectic between the essence and the knowledge, aiming at the Absolute Knowledge. The spirit makes the experience of recollecting effective realities that are told about some peopleâs History. It begins with the Beautiful Greek Individuality, which, although is a world divided between female and male, registers the awakening of the idea of freedom. Sophoclesâ tragedy, Antigone, attests a world condemned to collapse, it denounces the urgency of development of âfemale and male in dialecticâ, with the purpose of improving the human enterprise in its completeness. Only the Absolutely Other â female and male in dialectic â is capable of inciting the true knowledge of itself. Antigone symbolizes the end of the Classic Era and is a determinant moment in the evolution of spirit: the true spirit deprived-of-itself aspiring the recognition by the law and the institutions. The Lipovetskyâs Third Woman is the proposal of a bridge that links this phenomenon to the contemporizing. In its third moment, the female deprives herself from the old statements and becomes available to be self-determined
