RESUMO

This work identified changes in the planning strategies anel of companies organization of Brazilian Electrical Sector - BES, in virtue to the current technological dynamics. It presented the concepts related to the technical progress linking it, also, to the reality of countries in developrnent; it approached other specific concepts of power systems. lt diagnosed historical factors that contributed to the consolidation of technological trajectory of electricity industry in Brazil. It analyzed, through the intemational experiences, the contemporary relationships among the institutional and convenient reforms in the electrical sector and the technological transformations; manifested the new directions of politics brazilians govemment on BES. It sought, besides, to understand the answers of traditional public companies of sector to the current direction of technological transformations. It endecl that, in function of direction change in the electricity industry in the intemational plan and of the orientation national economic politics, the state electrical sector comes accomplishing an enormous restructuring process, allowing to answer to the challenges of changes in advance in the training levels in the strategic planning, organizational, R&D strategies and companies workers qualification.
