RESUMO
Resumo Este artigo é parte de um projeto de pesquisa interuniversitária que ajuda a resgatar a memória profissional do Serviço Social chileno durante o período 1973-1990, no contexto da ditadura cívico-militar. Especificamente, é apresentada uma análise sobre a participação do Serviço Social no processo de Defesa dos Direitos Humanos como integrante de equipes interdisciplinares em organizações não governamentais, considerando as principais contribuições que seu desempenho em contextos de resistência representa para o desenvolvimento profissional, no âmbito de um país em permanente estado de exceção.Abstract This article is part of an interuniversity research project that helps to revisit the professional memory of the Chilean Social Work during the period 1973-1990, in the context of the civic-military dictatorship. The study presents an analysis on the participation of the science of Social Work, which was included in the practice of non-governmental organizations’ interdisciplinary teams, in defending human rights. The article emphasizes the main contributions of the Social Work in contexts of resistance for the professional development of Social Workers within a country in a permanent state of exception.
