RESUMO

The growth of the telecommunications systems utilization and the introduction of the Third Generation Cell-Phone technologies motivate the industry to search for new alternatives to manage the traditional radio infrastructure, allowing so the offering of new business models and applications. In order to satisfactorily supply the demand generated this growth, as well as provide new resources for new methods of applications, the telecommunications industry is faced with the need to seek new mechanisms and technologies for the various lines of work in Radio Resource Management Radio (Radio Resource Management - RRM). In addition to describe, so brief, the main lines of work of the so-called area of Radio Resource Management, this work presents a new model for subcarriers allocation, for transmissions systems based on OFDM technology, based on fairness criteria related to concepts of priority, considering factors such as the requirements for minimum rate associated with each flow, and differentiated treatment to flows and users. Performance analysis verified the applicability of the model presented in this paper for transmission systems based on OFDM technology, where there is diversity of needs for bandwidth, as requirements for minimum rate, following the applicability to the load rate of the system, being the results obtained through simulation, and compared to the results of another model found in the literature
