Intertextualidade e plagio : questões de linguagem e autoria

RESUMO
The plagiarism of written texts is a juridical problem and, as so, has been subject of Law studies. The aim of this thesis was to bring such a theme to the language studies, examining the differences between intertextuality and plagiarism, as well as the usuallinguistic mechanisms of dissimulation of another s text. It was necessary to verify the notion of plagiarism in History and in Law, as well to review the social formation of authorship s notion and the basic aspects of the Law. To be able to understand the development of the notion of plagiarism through the I.iteraries mentalities, it was necessary to examine the way how some writers, concerned or interested in plagiarism s matters, faced the questiono According to theorical pressupositions, adequate to the linguistic analysis of the plagiarism in real texts, three events were examined. The results showed the productivity of considering the material here exposed in the verification of the denunciations
