RESUMO

This study analyses the subject of Sociology of Education in the curriculum of high school in the Institute of Education Lourenço Filho in Rio Branco,the state of Acre. The aim of this research reflects about the bibliographical and documental production and depositions of teachers and students of the subject of study, aiming the comprehension of sociological knowledges produced in the school space and how these knowledges contribute for criticísm of reality in which these individuais are inserted. Therefore, the analysis consists ín the relation among the Acrean society constituition, the historical development of Sociology of Education in the course of teaching profession in high school and the knowledges and experiences circumstanced in the school curriculum, aim of this research. The reflection of this work permits emphasizing the ímportance and necessily of a reflexive practice in the subject of Sociology of Education to deepen the study of the social and educational Acrean realities promoting the enrichment of the dialogue with a wider sociogical literature
