RESUMO

By using tetraethylortosilicate, amorphous silica-gel, tetrabutoxyde of aluminium, zirconium and titanium, as well as n-alkyldiamnines as precursors, a series of twenty nine inorganic-organic hybrid materiais, with lamellar or hexagonal structures were synthesized. Is shown that lamellar silica samples can be sucessfully used as sequestrating agents for transition metais as verified for nickel, copper and cobalt cations. On the other hand, the metais addition can exerts remarkable influences on the structure and thermal stability of the doped samples. Solid state reaction with poatssium bromide, as well as the increase of external pressure, are two other factor that can be employed to affect the lamellar silica structure. Is demonstrated that from amorphous silica-gel samples, lamellar silicon fluorides with a high crystallinity degree can be synthesized by employing a very simple and easy experimental procedure. Lamellar or hexagonal mixed oxides which exhibit the sequestrating properties of lamellar silica can also be obtained by using the so-called neutral amine route, through the sol-gel process.
