RESUMO

The computer is a human artifact, thus it also bands a social-cultural aspect, whereas a means of production of objects and things, cultural objects, academic knowledge, values, throughout the dialectics of its own space. As a modern artifact it is presented as a metaphor of the new information technologies. I have been covering the trajectory of this study since the selection of the object of research. Following Bachelards studies, I have chosen an observant way of researching, attentive to the educational aspects and having the computer as a mirror. My interest was to follow Bachelards studies but not dissect them. The researched objects are influenced by their own construction. Therefore, I firstly investigated the history and the symbolic conditions that originated their construction. After that, influenced not only by the Psychoanalysis of Fire but also by Bourdieus concepts, I investigated the artifact. The intention of building an artifact conception, allows us to realize that the result approaches an artifact philosophy. The computer, as a technological artifact, represents the desire of maintaining the logic of consumption, of passivity through the passive behavior of spectator and of the logic of speed. The information is what remains and suffices. The result is the appearance of a variable, the bankarian education, in which teachers and students are receptors, passive spectator. In this case, education seams to have become obfuscated. Studying education means to get away from the captured and vicious speech. Therefore, just like Perseus I have approached my Medusa through a spectacular artifact. It was about her I spoke, although I have briefly mentioned
