Using qualitative methodology, we conducted interviews with five teachers, who constitute the corpus of this research, and analyze the responses to the procedures of content analysis referenced to Bardin (2002), Franco (2003) and Richardson (1999). Interviews were carried out where it was possible to examine the perceptions of the teachers about how they are putting in practice this integration, the meaning of integrated high school and professional school, seeking to experience the ups and downs of this implementation. The results are divided into three parts: identifying the profile of those engaged in this modality, perception of a teacher in Tourism Course about integration, and impacts on teaching way of teach, seeking to points that facilitate or difficult the design of comprehensive training and guiding assumptions of teaching high school integrated with professional education in the Tourism Program of IFPA. We conducted a survey of supply of the Tourism program from 2005 to 2009, studying the integrated high school with professional education in relation to post high school programs, since the validity of Decree No. 5.154/04.
