RESUMO

Radical and unexpected transformations in organizations and work due to the technological development and the process of globalization and knowledge society imply the need of thinking about the trend of structural diminution of jobs and the consolidation of other forms of work in labor markets disclosing the ties between human and the social-economical-productive activity. These ties have claimed for updated answers since solids pillars of stability tend to disappear and produce important implications for people, not only at a symbolical, but also at day-to-day levels. Social representations of XX century about work as employment, and about organization as a stable company, must be reviewed under the light of the multiple options of work contracts and multi-employment relations just as theories on psychosocial aspects of work and organizations. Employability as a concept to justify conditions for entering, keeping or being fired from formal labor markets has been an option to explain or understand the problem of the relationship Persons Labor Markets. A review on specialized literature does not recognize explicitly structural aspects and focus its attention on individuals responsibility. The version of the actors that face those conditions has been unexplored and seem to be coincident with the hegemonic discourse since they have not possibilities of access to labor markets From the grounds of the Organizational and Work Psychology it is important to ask for answers to these new problems. The present sudy was developed on the discursive approach to analyze the versions of persons belonging to three categories of actors present in the labor market: Employers (persons who decide on hiring, maintaining or firing of workers), Professionals considered as bearing high employability (with three or more options of work per year) and Professionals considered as bearing low employability (that disclose low interest in labor market, or interruptions of work longer than three months or have jobs bellow their qualifications). Empirical data were gathered through interviews, and their analyses were made through discursive practices and the meaning production approach. The matching of the content produced by specialized literature with the actors answers produced by the interviews makes the elaboration of a critical reading of hegemonic discourses pretty difficult because concrete relationships with work seen in references such as identity, commitment, psychological contract and career go on associated to wide social repertoires because few people are prepared to differentiate or oppose to these discourses.
