RESUMO

In this work we analyse the electronic properties of unidimensional and bidimensional disordered systems. The disorder can be correlated. The disorder can be correlated. These correlations occur when certain bounds between atoms are not allowed. Therefore, the starting point of our model is the so called repulsive binary alloy. We study the transmission probability of a particle through unidimensional chains, and the resonant tunneling phenomenon through a double barrier quantum well structure. Further, we discuss the validity of mean field aproximations to analyze the quantization rules of spacial confinement in disordered systems. The formation of minibands in multiple layers disordered heterostructures are also studied. in the last part of the work, we analyse disordered bidimensional systems. For these systems, are discuss the existence of an anisotropic localization lenght
