Educação física à luz da educação comparada: reflexões sobre o Brasil e Cuba

RESUMO

This survey of the Group for Research and Education Philosophy - Educogitans, from the Regional University of Blumenau - FURB, Blumenau, Santa Catarina / Brazil, and aims at investigating how to develop Physical Education in Cuba, using for that the bias of Comparative Education. Thus, it is believed that knowledge about a different reality can contribute to the reflection of the problems affecting the Brazilian Physical Education, in particular regarding its relationship with the phenomenon of sport. Cuba was chosen to lecture the context of the enormous representation that physical education has on their school context and educational. Starting from the general purpose of research, search for arguments to the following issues arising: what is the emphasis that the Cuban Physical Education provides for the inclusion of all students, as school education focuses on training high level athletes, as the phenomenon sports serves the interests of Cuban social and political scene nationally and internationally. To achieve answers to the problems described above, and bringing the starting question as a constant work, we chose to approach qualitative research. To realize this exploratory research based on information obtained through a literature review and documentary, and then with the field research was conducted the analysis and interpretation of qualitative data. Upon completion of this dissertation, points out the similarity that approaches Cuba and Brazil, regarding the hegemonic character who takes the sport in Physical Education. However, it is noteworthy that the ideologies that underlie different realities point to different directions. Cuban Revolution in the sport takes on a characteristic sustained a Marxist perspective, in which the sport cant be seen again subject to the laws and meanings of capitalist society - one that causes social inequalities - but as a product of the human being to human being for the benefit the collectivity
