Educação de jovens e adultos e formação de professores : estudo histórico sob o referencial de violência simbólica

RESUMO
The research is a historical reflection about the Brazilian regular education deficits during the second half of the XX century. The most recently statistics records show that the official education in the country have had substantially progress in this area. It also demonstrates this improvement, especially during the 90 decade, when the Federal Constitution and the new LDB n. 9394/96 was approved. The most important improvement was universalizing the basic education. It also shows that one of the most important factors of the educational deficits is linked to the cultural heritage from the colonial period. Than, this historical scenario is interpreted thru the Bourdieu and Passeron (1975) symbolic violence concept. It argues how the symbolic violence is linked to the regular education of the juveniles and adults (JAE). It shows the relationship of the drastic consequences to the younger and adult labors and the absent or few education if they suffered an accident or illness work. On this situation, this labors goes to INSS Profit ional Rehabilitation Center to get their health rehabilitation. When they dont achieve the physical and health, they are early retired. When there is impossible to them to return to labor word because they cant work in another formal activity that dont depends on the repeated movements of their hands this situation is useful linked to absent or few education, Tedesco (1998). It also uses a specific questionnaire to shows from the labors view point how they interpreted the early retired of the formal labor word. At the end, it discusses the actual EJA teachers former studies.
