RESUMO
This work will do comparative study of illness and healings concept in the Mesopotamia and in Israel. The illness and healings agent or agents, the local of therapeutic process and the application or not of materia medica will be analyzed in this research. Illness is one of the curses found in the Ancient Near Easts treaties and Hebrew Bibles Covenant and it is seen, for the both cultures, like divine punishment.
