Desempenho e viabilidade econômica da produção de vacas em lactação suplementadas com torta de girassol

RESUMO

Twenty crossbred Holstein-zebu primiparous and multiparous after peak of lactation, with an average of 18.18 L and 101 days of lactation, were used to evaluate the performance of milk produced by cows fed diets containing different additions of sunflower cake (SFC): 0; 24; 48 e 72% and maintained on pasture elefhantgrass. The cows were divided into groups of five cows, arranged in a 4x4 Latin square balanced. The parameters evaluate were: production, composition and milk urea N concentration and economic viability the diets containing 0; 24; 48 e 72% of SFC. The inclusion of 72% of SFC in the concentrate caused a decrease in milk production (P<0.05); however, when correcting for 3.5% milk fat yields were similar (P>0.05). Moreover, the inclusion of the cake possible increase (P<0.05) in fat and total solids, without causing changes (P>0.05) in protein, lactose and milk urea N concentration. Was observed yet the decrease in production in kg/day (P<0.01) for protein, lactose and total solids with level 72% of TG in the concentrate, compared with levels of 0, 24 and 48%. Between inclusion levels of TG, a diet containing a level of 24% showed economic viability in relation to financial efficiency and value for money.
