The following research presents an analysis of the relations established between religion and politics by a Pentecostal evangelical group within the homeless people’s movement in the city of Goiânia-GO, known as "Real Dream", that it had as leader an evangelical shepherd. This research is part of the extensive academic debate that ranges from the Durkheim, Marx and Weber, to the discussion of Brazilian contemporary’s researchers, who deal with the place of the religion in the modern world. Moreover, it intends to contribute to the increment of the production on the Brazilian Pentecostal movement, trying to bring out its diversity and flexibility. To this effect, a qualitative method of data collection through semi-directive interviews was used. Is observed, inside of the evangelical group, diversity of positions, however is also found a considerable interlacement between religious conceptions and politics practices.
