RESUMO

Organized in eight chapters, this dissertation considers the Local development and evolution through the use of the neem oil as constituent of innovation of product of buccal hygiene (experimental toothpaste), in the nesting Farm Santa Mônica, Terenos Country, MS. The vegetable Neem (Azadirachta indica A. de Jussieu), until then it was used as defensive agricultural in the own ground neighborhood: The nesting in Novas Querência, as long as biodefensive. The available product however as dentifrice, was formulated from the requests communities for the improvement of the buccal health. The objectives of the research had been based on the traditional knowledge (ethnic botanic) concerning the use of the olant. From there, we carry through ample bibliographical studies in the worldwide inquiries about he vegetable: property dental-pharmacological, origin asset, industrial application, collateral effects, toxin, molecule structure, and the current period of probation for the plants medical uses the qualities investigated useful to odontology, international and prestige authors mention: bactericidal activity, bacteriostatic, ant fungus, analgesic, heal, among others. After the researches, was made exhaustive update analyses, formulating own recipes of dentifrices, and catalyzer substances, increased of the neem oil. This is our differential of technological innovation and alternative product. Composed simultaneously to analyses physical chemical of the national and imported commercial dental creams. We prepared thus, basic recipe destined to the buccal care. Comparing our products according to Boas Práticas de Fabricação e Controle (BPF / C). From the physical-chemical-analytical ascertainments we survey: rate of volatile, solid total, superficial tension, detergent, pH (the data shows that the majority o the commercial formulas has equivalence in rates and components). We have today, a entifrice equivalent to the best commercial brandies. Such experimental product achieved in the tests acceptability, positive majority among judges. In the stage of the clinical examination well gauge: chemical control of bacterial plaque, inhibition, growth and proliferation og the microorganisms in macrobiotic buccal. We hope to promote buccal health, life quality, citizenship, sympathy and participative economy. Sowing the potentialities of the neem and manufacturing the territory of the reform creating: raw material, the natural resources of a country and innovations, from the production of toothpaste, increasing vectorially the Local Development
