RESUMO

This thesis is located in the multidisciplinary field current denominated as new studies of the childhood that have been constituting according to the critic to the notion of childhood wrought in the modernity to welcome a developing conception of child as much as a producer of culture as an individual social and politically active. Such studies defend the investment in researches that are focused on the voices, glances, experiences and the point of view of children, considering them in their daily contexts. In consonance with such approach, the present study adopts a social constructionist perspective, precisely in the way it is understood by the authors of the Discursive Social Psychology, stressing the concepts of positioning and production of sense. Those investigations have been looking for understanding how people explain and handle with the world where they interact, by means of the language in use. Starting from such comprehension, the proposal of this work consisted in focusing on the voices of children who are involved in judicial family conflict, with the purpose of understanding how they positioning themselves and how they build senses of family in such contexts, according to their narratives. For so, a qualitative research was accomplished using as methodological resources individual and collective chatmeetings besides production of pictures by the participant children, which propitiated to them an opportunity to register, in different manners, their perspectives. In the collective meetings the option was for the chat-circle, modality that favors the dialogical process between researcher and participants and among the participants themselves, whose product was constituted into focus of the analysis. These chats with the children allowed an approach to family conflicts sceneries according to the perspective of whom is not directly responsible for it, once it visualizes ways of living in such contexts based on the point of view of girls and boys who participated in this research. From the accomplished analysis process, it was possible to realize that the children are not passive in the family contexts in what they interfere, but they positioning themselves and produce sense about their experiences. In their narratives, it is possible to identify critical statements on the relationships with the adult relatives that stand out the difficulties of communication because of the primacy that is given to the speech of adults. The children describe as crystallized and uncompromising the positions of adults, which hinder or impede to overcome the impasses, and they also question the practices of justice to the resolution of these subjects. The children denounce obstacles brought to family coexistence in such contexts, they demand speech spaces and they propose the dialogue as a way to overcome such impasses. When prioritizing those narratives from children, the interest was to unfold processes that raised other glances, other forms of saying and of interacting in the investigations and interventions with children. Besides contributing with the process of production of knowledge, this study intended to collaborate with the ethical-political debate on the participation of child in the social world, from the intra-familiar relationships to the most diverse institutional spaces
