RESUMO

A number of energy technologies are being employed for distributed generation. When it comes to small scale generation, microturbines are on the cutting edge of thermal technology due to their size, low capital, installation and O&M costs. This work presents the architecture components for the instrumentation, identification and control of a microturbine. The microturbine system was composed of a heavy truck turbocompressor, a dry-low-NOx (DLN) combustion chamber, fuel injection and lubrication apparatuses. The instrumentation was composed of thermocouples, pressure transducers, speed optical sensors and fuel injectors and respective conditioning circuits. The signal was acquired by means of an AD/DA card. A object-oriented software was developed for data acquisition and treatment. Linear system identification techniques were employed. The control was implemented based on the most adequate model of the microturbine. vi
