They were students from 1st to 4th grades in primary school. They were submitted to seven operational tests in four meetings. 20 children s operative diagnostics and four Case Studies were done. The cognitive development aspects and data obtained from diagnostic services were analyzed. The results confirmed that operational tests helped the cognitive structure analysis. It was not seen, as believed, that these children had cognitive problems. The tests showed to be an evaluation tool for professionals who are making use of them, giving them information which will help in the guiding process and, if necessary, give data to the multidisciplinary group, parents and teachers, making them clear about the children s cognitive development
