RESUMO

According to researches done all over the world about power transformers, the condensives bushings contribute in an expressive way for the percentile distribution of the failure ways related to the power transformers and it is certain to state that occurrences of failures involving bushings have caused damage to the transformers in which these bushings are installed many times followed by explosions resulting in the total or partial loss of the equipment which has major attributed cost of one electric transmission system installation. In the current scenery of the energy market that demands from the agents, through new regulations, a supplying next to the incessant continuity, the unavailability of the electric equipments have caused serious financial damage to the concessionary companies, resulting in concentrated efforts, with the manufactures, to find ways to solve this kind of problems, aiming the growth of the reliability and quality of their services. Based on it, this dissertation shows researches about the transformers types of bushings and their dominant failure ways, giving a bigger focus on the process of aging of the dielectrics involved in the manufacture of the condensives bushings. The preventive maintenance techniques used nowadays by the companies and the types of on-line monitoring of the condensives bushings isolation state, which allow an action from the maintenance staffs in an incipient phase of the defect formation, anticipating an occurrence of a failure, complement the purpose of this research
