RESUMO

This thesis aims to identify and systematize the scientific knowledge about the international impact evaluation of the use of computers in educational systems. This proposal stems from the findings of increasing integration of digital technologies for basic education, school level focus of this dissertation. Moreover, there is a enormous volume of international publications, and much of this knowledge often remains disconnected and spread across several repositories. It was noted that there is great interest from researchers in evaluating the results of that process, promoting a whole research field which is guided by research of what changes in behavior, thinking and human relationships of teachers, students and managers, with respect to the presence of computers as a usual component of education systems. Have been selected, from among thousands of studies, a few dozen relevant research for this dissertation, to organize "what" and "how" these studies carry out their evaluations. Which means the systematization of categories of analysis and research methodologies used in the documents reviewed. Based solely on a specific set of English language publications, we attempted to shed light on the vast knowledge that has been accumulated and disseminated internationally to contribute also to the increasing development of the national survey.
