RESUMO

This study aimed to investigate the complementary activities to the classroom and the teaching of values in the perception of high school students. It was used the qualitative research to get the data by an interview. Ten high school students, five male and five female, of a private school in Brasilia have participated in that survey. Individual interviews were conducted. The research aimed to investigate the perspective of high school students, the role of complementary activities to the classroom in the training of students and meeting groups of young people. Results emerged from the power complementary activities to the classroom , as regards the contribution to the learning process and served to dispel that these activities are somewhat fragmented from the educational process . In their speech it was clear how a meeting with a training class, even when off (it happens once a semester at a place far from school), participation in youth groups has a positive impact on relationships established in the classroom harmonizing the educational area, encouraging learning and experience of the room. The answers of the interviewed students, in general, showed that school activities and additional learning opportunities for the youth role, values and solidarity must be recognized.
