RESUMO

Technological advances have contributed for affordable and efficient equipment, resulting on increasing acquisition of these on the short and long term. According to the literature, what characterizes technological progress is the increasing productivity in the economy. We have done a theoretical essay on how the kind of technological progress specific-investment affects economic growth . We built a model, on steady state, referred on the article of Greenwood , Hercowitz e Krusel (1997). The model we propose is based on an aggregated productivity function, where final production of the economy requires labor force and two kinds of capital goods: infra-structure and equipment, we also considered the specific-investment. In a stationary state, we have reached closed solutions for the model.
