RESUMO

Known since the 70s, geopolymers are excellent chemical, mechanical and thermal performance materials. Although they have mostly been used as coatings in many of these applications, the number of studies on adhesion mechanisms of geopolymers is considerably less than the use of their properties. The main objective of this work is to evaluate resistance to single joint with alkali-activated adhesives from metakoalinite (MK) and soils calcinated (SC) as precursors using the sodium and potassium silicate as activators in aluminum bonded joints.
