RESUMO

We looked for, in this research, to do a Discursiv-Semantics of the Designation process that make able the construction of the reference to the slave name betwen the years 1870 and 1876. Our corpus is made, basically, with slaves escape advertisements that werw published in newspapers of Campinas during the time above mentioned. Our analysis is centred in the descriptions wich those adds show. Our objective is supported in the hypothesis of the speechs that werw maded by the proprietors of the slaves and published in the newspapers adds that shows an individuality and singular public image of the slaves. In this materiality of those adds, the process of the designation work discursively as dispositive of enunciation that structures a place of subjetivation where the slave is made as a singular subject
