RESUMO
This work has the objective of describing about the interreligious experience and pheno-menon of double religious belonging showed by the life of the French Benedictine monk Henri Le Saux (Swami Abhishiktānanda). He sought to establish an Hindu Christian mo-nasticism in the context of the Hindu tradition of non-duality (advaita). His experience opens an important avenue toward a Theology of Religion that would be based on an exis-tential encounter in the interreligious dialogue. He tried to achieve much more than a con-ceptual formulation, and the model which he offered is that of a bridge that unifies the two shores of religious pursuits of mankind. An experimental paradigm of self-awakening which is the discovery of the Word in the hearts cave
