RESUMO

The goal of this study was to know the way in which hea1th actions in Speech Impediment are thought of and carried out by the Lapa Hea1thCoordination professionals during the process of implementation of the Programa de Saúde da Família - Family Hea1th Programo To comprehend this process, semi-directed interviews have been carried out with the professionals of the health coordination and PSF implementation, professionals responsible for the management of the units where the program has already been implemented, as well as the speech impediment professionals who work in such units. The interviews were transcribed and analyzed from the theoretical reference of the analysis of speech, and the analytical process has enabled the development of three themes: organization of actions, placing of lhe speech impediment professional in lhe PSF and changes with lhe PSF. The texts from the interviews have been analyzed and discussed based on the above. The analysis has enabled the verification that the PSF implementation and placing of the speech impediment professional are still in full adaptation process, needing deeper discussions about change in the logic of assisting and its implications on the work of the coordination professionals, so that an actual change happens in the hea1th practices
