RESUMO

This work is a reference to a research about History discipline inclusion into the fundamental teaching curriculum during the military dictatorship period in Brazil (1964- 1985). According to the theoretical reference the history of school subjects and the studies of prescribed currriculum from the educational policy. It’s necessary to recover the conflicts which involved diferent agents – historians and federal education councillors – in the arrangement of the school historic knowledges, their connection with the historical and educational fields and in the attempt to legitimate such knowledges using its related politic and scientific organizations, the National History Association (ANPUH) and the Educational Federal Council (CFE). This process involving school historic knowledges was moved from the academical history research to the Pedagogical rules and the educational theories. Sharing the view of that, the prescribed curriculum has the function of leading the teacher to reach his activities, historians and councillors elaborated teaching proposals focusing the area of actions becoming the main teaching practices process.
