A Genetic Method for Determining the Order of Events in a Biological Pathway

RESUMO
We describe the application of a simple genetic test that indicates the order of events in a morphogenic or biochemical pathway. The test uses temperature-sensitive (ts) and cold-sensitive (cs) mutants, and it orders the times at which the ts and cs defects are expressed.
