A crise educacional brasileira em revista: o Ponto de vista da Veja

RESUMO

This research aims to comprehend and to analyse the discourse about the brazilian educacional crisis in the column Ponto the Vista, on Veja Magazine, in the year of 2006, and specifies: a) to analyse the discourses of columnists about the prism of the foucaultian arqueologic method, describe the concepts of speech, discoursive graduations, subject, principle of the author, rarity and archive; b) to investigate the geanealogical methods, the relations of power that cross the discourse of each columnist and the column, using the idea of order, knolegment and discipline. As methodology was chose by the practice of switching between description and interpretation, defined by Michel Pêcheux, of being operated by the analyst. Given the volume of the articles proceeded to the record: there was selected seven articles, in the period of question, that discuss the brazilian basic education crisis. Of the seven articles, four were written by Cláudio de Moura Castro, two by Lya Luft and one by Stephen Kanitz. For the analyses of the article was chosen by the referential of the Discourse Analysis in French line and it was elected as a theoric support, especially, the texts of Foucault (1984, 1999, 2005, 2006) and Pêcheux (1998, 1990). The essay was divided in three chapters. In the first is made a Brazilian Educational historical, at the arriving of the Jesuits to the actual days and are describe the more important systems of brazilian avaliation and the PISA as a international system. The second chapter is the one of the theoric referencial, where drives you to the heading way speech discourse graduation- archives, to postulate the meaning of the discourse that guides the report. The last chapter establishes as the hardest one, in this chapter is shown some journalists categories, is defined the methodology of analyses, there are shown the condition of production of the Veja Magazine and the analyses of the articles. The analyses was take into consideration all the page composition of the magazine, showing also the visual effects, the illustration and the diagrams, as the point of view of Hernandes (2004) e Foucault (2005). In all the articles verifies the discourse of Brazilian Educational crisis. The overcoming of this crisis is looked as a order principal, disciplines, as also dependents of a management in the ways of the management owners. The education is related with work e said as way of social growing e the heading of capitalism, view that shows that differs from the magazine that defends the values of free effort.
