A clínica fonoaudiológica: retrospectivas e prospectivas

RESUMO

This study intends to show two forms of configuration of the phonoaudiological clinic taking into account the principles and concepts which guide its procedures. On one hand, I recognize a clinic of positivist inspiration and, on the other hand, a clinic which aims at the status of subjectivity clinic. In order to reflect about these two forms of clinic configuration, I search, at first, for a brief understanding of the medical clinic (positivist clinic) and of the psychoanalytical (subjectivity clinic) to discuss how their meanings pass by the phonoaudiological clinic. After this, I raise clinical questions concerning aphasia. These questions send us, on one hand, to the classic phonoaudiological clinic; on the other hand, to another clinical perspective committed to language as a system of relations and differences which imply internal laws of functioning. I conclude highlighting the necessity of establishing other diagnosis and therapeutic forms to Phonoaudiology committed to its efficiency
