RESUMO

The Bioethics in the formation of the professional Nurse: contributions for a more humanitarian care, that has as general aim to analyze the contribution of the Bioethics for the formation of the professional nurse in a more humanitarian care. This study wants to analyse the contribution of Bioethics in the formation of the professional nurse in a humanitarian care from the view of the Nursing students and to verify, the conception of humanitarian care and its materialization in the practice from the view of the professional Nurses. This study focuses the bioethics in the nursing course for a humanitarian assistance, focusing as theoretical reference, the historical-dialectical materialism. In order to achieve this inquiry, a revision of literature was effected searching in history, the Nursing evolution and its education in Brazil. Students and professors of the Nursing course of two Institutions of Superior Education of Ponta Grossa city, Paraná, are involved in this research. The data was got by the Focal Group technique, and the results had been analyzed with the aid of the Bardin Content analysis, dividing the results in categories such as: a) objective conditions of work; b) humanitarianism/humanitarian activity; c) dichotomy theory/practice. The research revealed that: a) The Bioethics assumes important role in the formation of the professional Nurse. It contributes for a humanitarian care and allow nurses to rethink their practices. The concern about a humanitarian activity appears during the academic formation, showed in the professors attitudes, or it can be showed in different subjects. b) It is necessary to humanize the professors in the relationship between teacher/student. c) The humanitarianism assumes certain complexity in its definition and implantation, and it is necessary to consider the involvement of all community segments. The study presented, also, some ways for the formation of the professional nurse.
