13. In vitro UV absorption properties and radical scavenging capacity of Morella parvifolia (Benth.) Parra-Os. extracts
The goal of this research was to identify major compounds of the aerial parts of M. parvifolia (Benth.) Parra-Os., that could enhance its possible application as additive in dermocosmetic products, as well as evaluate the antioxidant properties. The extracts agreed with the broad-spectrum UVB/UVA absorption detected and could act as broad-spectrum sunscreens

14. Chemical compositions and antioxidant activity of Heracleum persicum essential oil
ABSTRACT In this study essential oil of the aerial parts of Heracleum persicum a spice widely used in Iran was isolated by conventional hydrodistillation (HD) and microwave-assisted hydrodistillation (MAHD) techniques. The extraction yield was determined and the chemical compositions of essential oils were identified by the application of gas chromatography/

15. SPRAY DRIFT AND CATERPILLAR AND STINK BUG CONTROL FROM AERIAL APPLICATIONS WITH ELECTROSTATIC CHARGE AND ATOMIZER ON SOYBEAN CROP
ABSTRACT: The use of aerial application with electrostatic charge is an alternative to improve the quality of insecticide applications in soybean crop. The objective of this study was to evaluate the drift and chemical control of the caterpillar and stink bug complex promoted by aerial applications of insecticide in the soybean crop, using electrostatic spra

16. Development and validation of a stability indicating method for quantification of the sesquiterpene lactone eremantholide C from Lychnophora trichocarpha (Brazilian arnica)
ABSTRACT Pharmacological activities as anti-inflammatory, anti-hyperuricemic, anti-gouty arthritis, antitumor and trypanocidal activities of the aerial parts from Lychnophora trichocarpha (Spreng.) Spreng. ex Sch.Bip., Asteraceae (Brazilian arnica) have already been proved. Eremantholide C is a sesquiterpene lactone and one of the active chemical constituent

17. Application of HPLC-DAD for the quantification of Lycorine in Galanthus elwesii Hook
ABSTRACT In the present study, a reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatographic method has been used for the quantitative determination of lycorine in the aerial parts and bulbs of G. elwesii Hook. A simple method for the extraction of lycorine in low mass plant samples was employed utilizing pre-packed columns with diatomaceous earth (Extrelut(r)).

18. AERIAL AND GROUND APPLICATION OF FUNGICIDE IN CORN SECOND CROP ON DISEASES CONTROL
ABSTRACT The aim was to evaluate the diseases severity on corn second crop. The research was conducted on the agricultural year of 2013 and 2014, evaluating the application quality over the fungicide spraying. The hybrid used was PIONEER 30k75 BT HERCULEX, evaluating the diseases severity previously and after the fungicide spraying, spray deposition on the c

19. The Antifungal Properties of Peppermint and Thyme Essential Oils Misted in Broiler Houses
ABSTRACT This study aimed at evaluating if essential oils misted in broiler houses reduce environmental fungi counts. The investigation was conducted in three experimental rooms, where broiler chickens were reared between 1 to 42 d of age. Every three days, the rooms were fogged with pure water (control) or with aqueous solutions of peppermint or thyme oils.

21. The effect of Ageratum fastigiatum extract on Rhodnius nasutus, vector of Chagas disease
Control of Chagas disease is based on insecticide spraying in domiciles in order to exterminate triatomine populations. However, since the vectors differ in susceptibility to currently used insecticides, the screening of the toxic potential of Brazilian flora may identify new molecules lethal to triatomines. This study evaluated the toxicity of ethanolic ext

22. Selectivity of the plant growth regulators trinexapac-ethyl and sulfometuron-methyl to cultivated species
The aerial spraying of plant ripeners on sugar cane (Saccharum officinarum L.) crops causes often the contamination of neighboring areas, which subsidizes formal complaints from the neighbors. These contaminations are due to spraying taking place during inadequate environmental conditions or from technical mistakes during the application. One of the most imp

The objective of this work was to evaluate effects of nitrogen fertilization and plant density on morphogenesis of Tanzania guinea grass. It was used a random block design with 12 treatments and two replications in a 4 × 3 factorial arrangement, with four doses of nitrogen (N) (without N application, 80, 160 or 320 kg/ha.year) and three plant densities (9,

24. Projeto de um veículo aéreo não tripulado para pulverização aeroagrícola / Unmanned aerial vehicle design for agricultural aerial spraying
The Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV s) have a variety of applications, wether monitoring of forest fires, power lines, traffic, crowds, but also can be used for aerial target military applications. Even though it is still somewhat restrict to civil application because of lack of regulation, such vehicles are being developed and studied in the academic sphere.
